Audience-Informed Winter or Holiday Poetry Portfolio
Each student analyzes a mentor poem, records firsthand input from younger students, and develops an illustrated or multimedia original poem through drafting, feedback, revision, and fluency rehearsal. The portfolio includes a brief reflection explaining how poetic, visual, and performance choices respond to the younger audience.
Younger-Grade Winter Poetry Celebration
Teams organize and deliver a coordinated read-aloud in a younger-grade classroom, combining fluent individual performances with audience-friendly visuals and collecting simple feedback about memorable words, rhythms, and images. Team members use shared decision-making to shape the program and explain how audience needs influenced their presentation.
