Students will launch the project by observing a safe elephant toothpaste demonstration, distinguishing evidence from interpretation, generating research questions, and drafting an initial concept for their live thermal-energy showcase station.

Students will research the elephant toothpaste reaction, compare safe showcase concepts against measurable criteria, test an approved setup, analyze temperature and foam data, and revise their design through evidence-based peer critique.

Students will present and defend their live elephant toothpaste thermal-energy showcase station, use peer feedback to clarify their explanation, answer audience questions with evidence, and reflect on scientific and collaborative growth.
