Students will examine crystal evidence, record initial thinking, refine a testable investigation question through peer feedback, and preview the Crystal Growth Science Showcase.

Students will conduct a safe, peer-reviewed crystal-growth test, document conditions and measurements, analyze patterns and anomalies, and revise an evidence-based explanation for their Crystal Growth Science Showcase.

Students will present their completed crystal-growth investigations to an authentic audience and use evidence to defend their conclusions. They will complete a final peer-feedback and revision cycle, exhibit sealed crystal samples and scientific displays, answer audience questions, and compare crystal formation with organism growth. A closing reflection circle will revisit their initial ideas and examine changes in scientific understanding and teamwork.
