Students will observe a safe outdoor Coca-Cola and Mentos demonstration, collect initial evidence, generate investigable questions, and draft a preliminary explanation that they will revisit throughout the project.

Students will conduct a controlled Coca-Cola and Mentos investigation, analyze original data alongside research, and revise a draft illustrated explanation board through structured peer critique.

Students will present and defend their illustrated explanation boards at a Fizz Science Expo, use audience feedback to make a final revision, and reflect on how evidence and critique improved their scientific explanations.
