Learning Goals & Products

Learning Goals

1

I will be able to measure and compare acute and obtuse angles using a protractor.

2

I will be able to model transformations on a coordinate grid and explain congruence and similarity.

3

I will be able to justify a triangle or transversal angle relationship using measured evidence.

You Make an Angle Investigation Plan

You predict, measure, and compare angles in a plan using a protractor. You record coordinates, transformations, and one tested angle relationship.

You Create Geometry Artwork and Reflect

You create a poster, sculpture, or digital artwork with labeled acute angles and obtuse angles. An acute angle is less than 90 degrees. An obtuse angle is more than 90 degrees. You add transformed shapes and a short reflection about changes from draft to final.

Your choices
Your Poster — You arrange measured angles and transformed shapes in a clear two-dimensional design.
Your Sculpture — You build a stable artwork showing measured angles and transformed geometric shapes.
Your Digital Artwork — You use digital tools to show measured angles, coordinates, and transformed shapes.
