Animal Adoption Readiness Research and Design Portfolio

Each student will submit an evidence-based portfolio containing an adoption-readiness analysis, stakeholder-needs synthesis, Scratch code explanation, art and music rationale, publication review, revised drafts, and Growth Zone reflection. The portfolio demonstrates individual mastery of animal welfare, human-centered design, computational thinking, ethical communication, and impact evaluation.

Winter Concert and Animal Adoption Support Experience

Each team will design, test, revise, and present a coordinated public experience featuring a Scratch pet-food-safety game, adoption and care resources for the project website and brochures, and animal-welfare art and music contributions. Teams will use partner feedback and event data to evaluate how effectively the experience supports BCAS and helps families make informed adoption, fostering, and pet-care decisions.
