Spanish Ofrenda Curatorial Portfolio and Oral Presentation
Each student creates a portfolio containing community or audience insight notes, research on the honored person and ofrenda traditions, a revised Spanish introduction card and legacy labels, an annotated arrangement prototype, and an individual oral presentation. A brief reflection documents feedback-based revisions, curatorial reasoning, language growth, and the student’s contribution to team decisions.
Curated Día de los Muertos Ofrenda and Raíces y Recuerdos Exhibition
Teams design, test, revise, and publicly present a culturally respectful ofrenda whose objects, artwork, Spanish texts, and live introductions communicate an honored person’s identity and legacy. During the community gallery walk, members share leadership and presentation roles and explain how audience or partner feedback shaped the final display.
