Daylight Detective Investigation Book
Each student creates a book with a teacher-supported investigation question and one page per observation day containing a sky drawing, a comparison with weather reporter data, one feeling word, and a detail added after partner feedback. A final page uses evidence from the book to explain one seasonal daylight pattern and identify any missing or differing observations.
Seasonal Daylight Evidence Presentation
Teams combine members’ book evidence into a picture chart and short presentation for Changing Skies Family Night explaining the observation method, seasonal daylight pattern, supporting evidence, differing findings or limitations, and one new question. Each student contributes an observation and helps explain the team’s conclusion.
