Students will be able to investigate fundraiser options for Science Camp by gathering evidence from multiple sources and generating focused questions about what each plan would need to succeed.

Students will be able to discuss and compare fundraiser ideas using would, could, should, and need language to explain fairness, fun, effort, and likely profit.

Students will be able to define a realistic fundraiser problem statement that explains what their group needs to raise for Science Camp and why their chosen idea fits the school community.

Students will be able to develop and revise a written fundraiser plan that includes steps, materials, roles, and a simple budget for their chosen idea.

Students will be able to present and justify a fundraiser proposal to classmates and school leaders using evidence from research, peer feedback, and group planning.

Individual Science Camp Fundraiser Research Notes and Prototype Flyer

Each student creates a research-based notes page and one low-tech fundraiser concept flyer or sketch that shows what their idea would need to work. The work must connect firsthand or source-based evidence to a clear next step for the group.

Group Science Camp Fundraiser Proposal and Pitch Board

Each group produces a shared problem statement, simple budget, roles, timeline, and a revised poster or slide board for one fundraiser idea. The product is designed for classmates and school leaders to review and give feedback.
