Learning Goals & Products

Learning Goals

1

I will be able to investigate shoulder anatomy and movement patterns to explain how muscles, joints, and rotation affect safe strength and mobility.

2

I will be able to analyze my left shoulder performance data to identify pain, range of motion, stability, posture, sleep, and training habits that influence recovery.

3

I will be able to apply strength, flexibility, and recovery techniques to design exercises that improve shoulder function and reduce injury risk.

4

I will be able to compare and justify multiple exercise modifications for shoulder weakness using biomechanical principles such as force, motion, and rotation.

5

I will be able to design a 7-week shoulder rehabilitation and strength plan with targeted exercises, progressions, and recovery routines.

6

I will be able to demonstrate growth mindset and self-advocacy as I persist through setbacks, seek feedback, and adjust my plan.

individual

You'll conduct a shoulder needs assessment and user-informed recovery journal

You'll document your baseline shoulder mobility, pain, stability, and training habits, then collect at least one round of feedback from a coach, trainer, or health professional. You'll use that evidence to define your personal design challenge and track what changes matter most.

individual

You'll build, test, and refine a 7-week shoulder rehab and strength prototype plan

You'll create an evidence-based 7-week routine with exercises, cues, progressions, and recovery strategies, then revise it using weekly check-ins and performance data. Your final version will show how user evidence and biomechanical reasoning shaped your choices.
