Students will launch the Math Carnival Challenge by reading the client brief, sorting game ideas through a ratio-and-rate lens, and defining measurable design constraints in a project notebook before any building begins.

Students will collect and analyze prototype test data, compare results to original fairness and capacity criteria, revise ratios and game procedures based on evidence and peer critique, and document mathematically justified improvements before moving to the next phase.

Showcase
Students will present their revised one-desk carnival booth prototype to an authentic audience, defend fairness and efficiency with notebook evidence, gather scorecard feedback from visiting players, and complete the final project notebook check showing how testing led to revisions.
