Students will launch their weather investigation by observing local conditions, using simple weather words, making an initial clothing or activity choice, sharing feelings and learning with a partner, and beginning class questions about how weather changes what people wear and do.

Students will investigate how daily weather affects what people wear and do by noticing outdoor conditions, asking a class weather question, making a simple prediction, and setting up a shared method for collecting evidence with picture sorts, clothing or activity cards, partner feedback, and oral reflections.

Students will collect and revise daily weather evidence by observing outside conditions, recording a picture sort with matching clothing or activity cards, sharing what they learned and felt, and using partner feedback to improve the accuracy of their evidence log.

Students will study their weather evidence for patterns and surprising days, use partner feedback to revise captions or voice notes and clothing or activity matches, and prepare gallery-ready weather sorts to share evidence-based ideas and new questions with visitors.

Students will present their weather evidence to families through the Weather Wear Parade, explain how weather changed what they wear or do, and complete a final speaking-based checkpoint using their gallery pieces, partner listening, and personal reflection.
