Personal Budget Investigation Notebook

Students create an investigation notebook that documents their chosen job, housing, transportation, utilities, phone/internet, groceries, hobby, and complete linear expense equation. It also includes calculation tables, monthly-to-multi-year comparisons, curveball responses, and a personal analysis of which choices are financially sustainable.

Survival Budget Defense Presentation

Teams synthesize individual findings into a formal presentation showing their recommended budget plan, visuals, and rationale. They must explain their method, defend choices with evidence, address conflicting or unexpected results, and state limitations plus follow-up questions.
