Students will launch the project by using a bridge-design scenario to identify stakeholders, surface needs and concerns, and begin using empathy as a tool for defining problems more clearly.

Go through a board game set of rules and reverse engineer the empathy map and questions that would go into creating a board game.

Exhibition Empathy Map Creation
Students will turn empathy findings into quick concept directions, test low-fidelity prototypes against stakeholder needs, revise using peer and user feedback, and submit a refined prototype with documented evidence of how empathy changed their design choices.

Showcase
Students will present their revised empathy maps and project-specific problem framing to an authentic audience, explain how feedback changed their thinking, and complete a brief written reflection on how empathy shaped their final design decisions.
