Folktale User Research Notes and Solo Pentatonic Prototype
Each student submits a simple user research artifact with observations from at least one real listener or storyteller, plus a short solo xylophone prototype that tests one mood or character idea from the folktale. The piece must show how evidence from the user informed both the problem understanding and the musical choices.
Asian Folktale Skit with Live Pentatonic Accompaniment and Evidence-Based Artist Statement
Teams present a polished skit with live xylophone accompaniment, along with a shared How Might We statement and a brief artist statement explaining how individual research and prototypes shaped the final design. The performance should be ready for authentic stakeholders and clearly show revision based on feedback.
