Personal Price-Change Investigation Notebook
Students document one focused money question, show calculation steps for discounts, tax, tip, markup, percent increase/decrease, and percent error, and explain what the evidence says about the best choice. The notebook includes raw work, corrected revisions, and a short analysis of errors or surprises.
Price Change Parade Market Math Display Board or Slide Presentation
Teams synthesize each member’s evidence into a public display that compares several money scenarios and recommends the best value. The presentation must show methodology, visual calculations, conclusions, limitations, and at least one conflicting or unusual result the team had to explain.
