Grocery Budget Investigation Notebook
Each student keeps a research notebook showing question development, price-card analysis, unit-rate calculations, budget checks, and personal conclusions. It documents raw work and reflections so the student can independently demonstrate mastery of the math behind the final shopping plan.
Snack Savvy Expo Grocery Basket Pitch and Investigation Report
Teams produce a formal report and short expo pitch that synthesize members’ evidence into one best-value shopping plan. The product must show methodology, visual representations, conclusions, limitations, and how the team handled disagreements or unexpected results.
