Students sort evidence cards from their annotated Seedfolks excerpts, observation notes, and user quotes into pattern groups such as litter, heat, runoff, bare soil, and water waste. The class models how to separate observation from inference, then teams create a cause-and-need chart linking one character perspective to one local site need. Students add one evidence-based note and one social-emotional note to their project map at the end of class.
