Students revisit their Frazier History Museum notes and timeline pages, then learn a simple note-coding system using colored pencils: world event, Kentucky change, and cultural blending. Using a teacher model and notebook template, they sort old notes, add missing source labels, and mark which details came from artifacts, images, labels, or sketches. Each student finishes with a traceable notes page ready for new research.
