Launch
Students will launch the investigation by collecting class favorites data, building an initial picture graph, and using early addition and subtraction comparisons to ask what the data shows. They will also explore how shapes and fair shares can help design the class display with a community partner, then record a first reflection about a math idea, a strategy, and a challenge.
