Students will be able to define and apply the terms restoration and mediatization in the context of the Napoleonic Era and the Congress of Vienna.

Napoleonic Era Investigation Notebook
Students create a research notebook that records their question development, source notes, map/image analysis, vocabulary explanations, and a personal claim about how Napoleon changed Europe. It must show how evidence supports the student’s interpretation and note at least one limitation or unanswered question.
Napoleon to Vienna Wall Timeline and Mini-Museum Exhibit
Teams build and present a chronological wall timeline with maps, captions, images, and an exhibition narrative that explains Napoleon’s rise, expansion, reforms, key terms, downfall, and the Congress of Vienna. The exhibit must include each member’s contributions, a shared claim, and a discussion of conflicting or surprising evidence.
