Learning Goals
Students will be able to define area and perimeter in a Minecraft park design using measured shapes and boundary lengths
Students will be able to calculate area and perimeter of simple rectangular plots in a Minecraft park with accuracy
Students will be able to analyze multiple Minecraft park layout ideas using criteria and constraints
Students will be able to generate and sketch more than one possible Minecraft park layout before building
Students will be able to justify a final Minecraft park design using area and perimeter evidence from testing
Students will be able to communicate how their Minecraft park design uses space efficiently to serve visitors

Annotated Minecraft Park Design Sketch and Decision Matrix
Each student creates two different park layout sketches with labeled measurements, area and perimeter calculations, and a simple decision matrix. The final page explains which design they would choose and why using evidence.
Revised Minecraft Community Park Prototype and Expo Presentation
Teams build one functional Minecraft park prototype, test it against class criteria, revise it at least once, and present evidence of performance and design trade-offs. The presentation should show how individual ideas informed the final team design.
