Students complete just-in-time guided practice using target sound values they may actually build for, including metric conversions, scientific notation, and wave equation calculations in different media. Teams then apply the same process to their own proposed sound target and draft a measurement method using tools such as a tone-generator app, frequency analyzer, ruler or tape measure, and calculation log.
