🧮 Concept Sketches and Criteria Check

Students draft two distinct concept sketches in their notebook: one possible instrument and one possible interactive demonstration, each with labeled parts, target frequency ideas, and at least one planned calculation using scientific notation or metric conversion. In small groups, they give feedback to 2 peers, receive feedback, and revise their sketches using a short criteria-and-constraints checklist focused on elementary audience clarity, measurable sound targets, and testability. Students end by selecting a tentative direction and writing a brief justification supported by math and audience needs.
