🔍 Real Nest Features Sort

Students study photos and short teacher-selected examples of bird nests from different habitats, then sort features by materials, shape, and placement. As a class, they connect each feature to protection, stability, and comfort using science vocabulary such as structure, function, criteria, and constraint. Students add at least three takeaways to their design notebook for use in the next phase.
