Students conduct a live Spanish audience-research round with a visiting Spanish-speaking journalist or radio host and a bilingual drama teacher, using a shared question set about humor, clarity, character growth, and lesson. In small groups, students capture quotes, observed reactions, and pain points on sticky notes, then sort them into an empathy map with sections for audience needs, joys, confusions, and memorable comedy moves. Each group identifies at least one assumption that was confirmed and one that was challenged by the direct feedback.
