Students meet briefly with the teacher to share their question, claim draft, and planning map while classmates complete a picture self-check. The teacher uses a simple checklist to confirm that each student has a usable question, at least two evidence sources, and a recording plan before moving into evidence collection. Students make one quick revision on the spot if a part is unclear or incomplete.
