🎭 Butterfly Needs Performance Check

Students complete the final performance task by acting out the butterfly life cycle with the class, then sorting picture cards into food, water, and shelter categories and explaining their choices aloud. After the check, children complete a Friday butterfly picture journal by drawing or dictating what they learned and naming one change they made after partner feedback during habitat building. The teacher uses a simple picture rubric as a milestone record of each child's science understanding and communication.
