Teams set up their polished board game kit with the board, custom cards, tokens, rule sheet, and brief presentation script, then welcome rotating family and library guests to a live playtest table. During the showcase, students give a concise oral explanation of how player choices, scoring, setbacks, and recovery mechanics communicate success and failure, support visitors through one round of play, and collect quick audience comments on what rules made growth easiest to understand. In the final minutes, each student completes a short midpoint-to-final reflection card comparing the original idea to the revised game and naming one rule change that made success, failure, or growth clearer for players.
