Using a mini-lesson, diagram cards, and a modeled example tracker, students examine how body subsystems interact when sleep, hydration, food, movement, and stress habits change. They set up a personal habit tracker for the week and annotate it with the variables they will monitor, the time intervals they will use, and one environmental impact connection such as disposable drink containers or packaged snacks. Students complete a quick circle check-in comparing predicted habits with class expectations and name one academic growth goal and one social-emotional shift they want to notice.
