🪐 Solar Display Sketch Sprint

Using planet photo cards from the museum partner, nonstandard unit cubes, crayons, sentence stems, and a large planning sheet, groups quickly sketch two different ways to show the Sun and eight planets for a visitor gallery display. Students test spacing with one shared nonstandard unit, talk through which layout makes planet order, size, and labels easiest to understand, then give feedback to 2 peers from another group and receive feedback on clarity and accuracy before revising one final group plan. The finished artifact is one revised planning sketch with simple labels, chosen colors, and notes about where the poster, model pieces, and fact cards will go.
