🪐 Orbit Discovery Sketch Plan
Students begin with a teacher-facilitated mini museum display using planet photos, simple fact cards, model samples, and materials from the science museum partner. As a class, they discuss the question of how math, science, and art can help make a solar system model accurate and clear for visitors, then move in small groups to observe photos, compare planet order, test spacing with connecting cubes or craft sticks, and notice how color, shape, and labels help an audience understand. Each group interviews the teacher or museum partner with one question about what visitors need in a clear display, then creates a quick planning sketch for a poster-and-model layout and shares it with another group for feedback; students give feedback to 2 peers, receive feedback, and revise their sketch before a short closing share and circle reflection.
