📝 Empathy Evidence Map

Using notes from the carousel, students work in pairs to sort early evidence into an empathy map for the three audience groups and to draft assumptions, questions, and variables that may matter for later lantern design, such as visibility, clarity of message, durability, and audience age. Pairs create a one-page map with at least one focused research question, one early design implication, and one claim linking a novel theme to a real audience need. Students then exchange maps, give feedback to 2 peers, receive feedback, and revise before submitting; the class ends with a short audio or video reflection on teamwork, speaking confidence, and how their thinking shifted.
