🖼️ Audience Map and Field-Sketch Card

Using sample exhibit boards, nature center reference materials, and the class collection from day 1, students create a field-sketch card for one insect that includes a labeled sketch, a 6-line freewrite, and a short note about what a school audience or botanical garden guest might learn from it. In pairs, students give feedback to 2 peers, receive feedback, and revise one scientific label and one creative choice before posting the card in a quick gallery walk with a 2-sentence reflection on how observation changed their decisions. This produces the phase deliverable and establishes the weekly critique routine.
