Knowledge/Skill Building
🌀 Zentangle Rhythm on Nets
Submission Required
Students build just-in-time skill with Zentangle-style mark making by testing repeated and varied motifs on printed or hand-drawn polyhedron nets. They examine how line weight, density, contrast, and motif placement affect visual rhythm across connected faces, then create pattern trials using fineliners, rulers, and geometric templates. Students annotate which motifs may support larger faces, smaller faces, or focal areas without disrupting the mobile’s structural readability.
