Students will examine mentor comic covers and origin-story excerpts, test early ideas about their postgraduation next chapter against real pathway guidance, and create a rapid mood board that names a defining moment, future goal, and challenge for Origin Issue #1.

Students will gather direct evidence about postgraduation hopes and obstacles, analyze comic-origin conventions alongside user input, and turn those findings into an empathy map, evidence board, and a concise design brief with a How Might We statement that will guide their Origin Issue #1 storyboard and cover.

Students will present their gallery-ready Origin Issue #1 work to families, counselors, and mentors, explain how their K–12 prequel connects to a believable next chapter, and use audience feedback plus a partner interview to name a concrete postgraduation next step.
