🧩 Mystery Shape Meetup

Teams open an envelope with quadrilateral clue cards, shape cutouts, and a sorting mat, then group the shapes by shared attributes they notice such as sides, angles, and corners. During two fast check-ins, classmates and the teacher give one note about whether a shape fits the group and why, and teams revise at least one placement if the evidence suggests a better fit. The class closes by naming the driving question, previewing the campus shape map with the facilities staff member, and writing one investigation question in the Quadrilateral Investigation Notebook.
