🧭 Criteria Weights for Colony Systems

Students revisit their Phase 2 design brief and rank the importance of survival criteria for water, food, shelter, air, and energy using a weighted scoring tool. The teacher models how engineers turn criteria and constraints into numerical comparisons, then teams assign agreed-upon weights and define what a high, medium, or low score means for each category. Each student records the final weighted criteria in a Mars Colony Design Notebook.
