Students turn one journal page into a polished class lettuce growth book page with labeled roots, stems, and leaves; at least three life cycle stages; and pictures of daily needs. In a structured partner round, each child gives feedback to 2 peers, receives feedback, and revises using crayons, sticky-note icons, and sentence frames. Students add one healthy-choice claim and one note about a limitation such as "our plant was smaller" or "we missed one watering check."
