Pairs test their prototype with another pair in two short rounds. Each testing pair gives feedback to 2 peers, receives feedback, and revises by using a picture form with icons for clear rules, fun, fairness, and math match; the teacher records oral comments such as 'too many pieces' or 'need bigger numbers.' After testing, pairs make one immediate revision to rules, materials, or math tasks and mark the change on the checkpoint chart.
