As a class, students sort picture notes and teacher-recorded quotes from earlier interviews and observations into categories such as clear rules, fun turns, counting help, fair chances, and easy materials. The teacher models a simple design brief and a shared How Might We statement, then pairs complete a picture-supported planning card naming who their game is for, what math it will practice, and what players need. Students use the anchor-chart checkpoints as a reflection tool before moving on.
