Spirit-Animal Tessellation Research Board and Prototype Sketch Packet
Each student creates an individual user-centered research board with quick interpretation notes from peers, a reflection on symbolism and identity, and at least one prototype tessellation sketch. The packet shows how firsthand feedback shaped the student’s design direction and supports the team’s final problem definition.
Symbol Circle Showcase Mural and Collaborative Artist Talk
Teams combine individual insights into a shared problem statement and a higher-fidelity tessellation installation for the showcase. They present how user feedback informed the final design and explain key tradeoffs, revisions, and intended interpretations to authentic viewers.
