🧭 Symbolism Interview Protocol

Students study a short set of exemplar tessellations and identity-based artworks, then co-build interview questions that focus on viewer interpretation, symbolism, and respectful language. The class practices using art vocabulary such as motif, repetition, balance, and viewer interpretation before rehearsing short interviews in pairs. Students leave with a 5-question protocol and note-catcher for field testing with classmates and adult viewers.
