Students test their refined tessellation with a new viewer set, such as classmates outside their table group, the school counselor, or an invited cultural/community partner when appropriate. Viewers respond to a short protocol: what identity or animal traits they notice, what visual evidence supports that reading, and what remains unclear. Students synthesize feedback from at least two sources, then revise both artwork details and artist statement claims to better match how real people interpret the piece.
