🥄 Recipe Step Test and Fix

Students work with Morse High School culinary students to test one simple recipe step from a class recipe card and notice where younger readers might get confused. After the test, students give feedback to 2 peers, receive feedback, and revise the directions, pictures, or sequence using sticky notes and crayons. Groups create a picture-based empathy map showing what a reader needs to see, hear, and understand to follow the recipe safely.
