👂 Recipe Interview Talk Moves

Students practice asking and answering clear recipe-story questions using picture cards, sentence frames, and a modeled think-aloud. The teacher and Morse High School language arts students model respectful listening, retelling a partner’s answer, and sorting oral details into ingredients, steps, and family memory. Students then rehearse in pairs with clipboards, drawing boxes, and word cards they will use in later interviews.
