🧭 Research Notebook Setup

Students examine the Animal Habitat Research Notebook and practice how to sort facts into three evidence boxes: body parts, behaviors, and habitat needs. Using a short modeled example from a San Diego Zoo animal page, the class identifies what was observed, what was learned from a source, and where to record each fact with a labeled sketch.
