🖼️ Food as Art Gallery Showcase

Students install their ceramic food sculptures with artist statements and process evidence from their four rough drafts, then participate in a spring art show gallery presentation for visitors, peers, and staff. In small exhibition teams, they co-present a 2-3 minute gallery pitch that explains the shared theme, highlights influences from Wayne Thiebaud and Noah Verrier, and points to how memory, culture, and everyday life shaped design choices. During the showcase, students respond to audience questions, collect at least two visitor comments, and complete a brief written reflection on how their piece communicates meaning.
