Students will be able to collaborate to set goals and make placement decisions that help individual mosaic pieces fit together into one coherent school artwork.

5

Students will be able to test and refine their mosaic tile by using peer or teacher feedback to improve pattern clarity, color contrast, and overall message.

Personal Mosaic Tile with Artist Statement

Each student creates one finished mosaic tile or panel section that shows a personal theme, uses intentional color and pattern, and fits the school-wide design. Students also submit a short artist statement or audio reflection explaining how their ideas changed from the launch to the final piece.

School-Wide Mosaic Layout Plan and Installed Collaborative Mosaic

Teams create a shared problem statement and a placement guide for how individual tiles connect into one unified school mosaic, then assemble the final collaborative installation. The team presents the finished mosaic to an authentic audience and explains how student research and prototype ideas shaped the final design.
