Students will investigate animal clues and habitat evidence, hear a community expert connect animal needs to survival, and make an initial evidence-based team claim about how a wildlife rescue center can protect animals and teach the community.

Students will gather evidence from a community expert and peer users, sort what they learn about animal life cycles, habitats, and human impact, and turn those findings into a clear How Might We design brief for their wildlife rescue center model and Expo teaching station.

Students will present their wildlife rescue center models to an authentic audience, use a student-friendly rubric to show growth in explaining animal life cycles, habitats, traits, and survival strategies, and reflect on how feedback improved their communication.
